The Maple Valley Library serves 28,220 residents of Maple Valley and is part of the King County Library System. The library contributes resources to the 3.6 million volumes available on hand and 20.3 million items circulated annually by the Library System. Maple Valley Library was established in 1947, and the current 10,000-square-foot library opened in December 2000. It provides computers and printers, WiFi, a scanner, a fax machine, a study room, meeting spaces, and library events like family storytime, talk time, and online tutoring. In addition to various in-library services, it offers book drop services.
