The Advance Community Library serves the residents in the city of Advance, Stoddard County, Missouri. The library started in 2004 through the collaborative effort of the Advance Community Team, City of Advance, and the Advance R-IV school district to provide the community with reading materials and computer literacy. The library maintains over 10,000 books and serial volumes and circulates about 2,200 items per year. When school is closed, the library organizes summer reading programs to keep the kids busy.
