The Saint Rose Branch Library is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 6,000 residents in the city of Saint Rose, in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. Founded in 1955, St. Charles Parish Library started with two other branches in Norco and Hahnville. It has expanded to fully cater to its patrons, and the Saint Rose Branch Library is only one of the branches opened in 2003. The branch contributes to the overall collection and services of the library system, which includes more than 230,000 books and serial volumes, more than 12,000 E-Books, more than 8,000 audio files, and more than 6,000 video files. The library system circulates more than 230,000 items, has more than 33,000 registered borrowers, and receives more than 190,000 visitors annually. Additionally, the facility is a 10,000-square-foot building equipped with meeting rooms that can accommodate 60 patrons and public parking for around 40 vehicles.
