The Prescott/Nevada County Library and Educational Facility is a publicly funded and managed library that serves more than 3,000 residents in the city of Prescott, the county seat of Nevada County, Arkansas. It is an affiliate branch of the Southeast Arkansas Regional Library (SEARL), which was founded in 1947. In response to the growing need for library services, the Delight Branch Library was opened in 1948 with approximately 7,500 books. Today, Prescott/Nevada County Library and Educational Facility contributes to the overall collection and services of the county library system, which includes more than 55,000 books and serial volumes, 48 e-books, 516 audio files, and 965 video files. Additionally, the library system also has more than 2,000 registered borrowers, circulates more than 28,000 items, and welcomes more than 22,000 visitors annually at its ten locations across five counties.
